Locked!/Spammity spam. [Mar 18th, 2:14pm]

&rarr RP stuff. [Mar 18th, 2:00pm]
&rarr This journal is under MAJOR construction. Bare with me.

&rarr I live on Eastern Standard Time, though since one of my main RP partners is in Australia, I tend to sleep/be awake at all sorts of hours. I do have a job, but it's fairly easy and lets me nap in the afternoon and stay online at night which, aside from weekends, is when I do most of my playing.

&rarr I prefer threading in communities over AIM stuff, but will I'll do both. Unfortunately, I tend to be rather AIM-shy, and threading is just so much easier for me to manage. I'm a little scatterbrained and absentminded and that's a LOT easier to handle and less pressure to deal with on boards than AIM.

&rarr I'm willing to play both males and females equally! I've been leaning towards males a lot more lately though, unless they're girls I've had around for a while. I'm not afraid at all to do either.

&rarr I tend to prefer not to do smut/nc-17/sex scenes unless I'm particularly close to the person I'm writing with and have known them for a bit. I don't have a problem with reading them or having them implied -- I just don't feel comfortable playing it out with a stranger.

&rarr I storybook. End of story. No asterisk or anything like that. For that matter, all of my writing is third person, usually past tense, when threading and obviously first person in journals.

&rarr I much prefer to work things out naturally rather than committing to storylines. I've had some amazing lines come from just playing characters together and I love it. I will plan some things, but I can't say that anything will be set in stone.

&rarr I do both fandom and PB, but no celeb as I feel I would fail completely at it. I pretty much adore OCs and tend to focus on them quite a bit.

&rarr I am slash/femme friendly, but het is my comfortzone. I've not strayed much from it in years, but I would be willing to give a new SL a shot!

&rarr My fandoms include: LOST. Harry Potter. Gossip Girl. One Tree Hill. House. Lord of the Rings. The Office. Heroes. Broadway. Charmed. Supernatural. Twilight (in it for the lulz). And probably a slew of others that I'm forgetting.

&rarr I'm a research whore, which is worth mentioning. Any sort of plot I'm going to do involving mental illness, pregnancy, or careers, or even a book/tv character's history and canon personality, I research the hell out of. I don't do things half-assed. I'm willing to give room to adjust and don't follow things strictly, but I always keep what's 'right' in mind.
